Problem: Upon my observations of my students, I noticed that they were still struggling with their writing, specifically writing Thesis Essays.
Solution: Taking heed to the majority of my student's interest in gaming, I created this infographic as a guide for students to use as they are writing their essays. It includes hints as well as specific elements that need to be completed in each component of an essay.
Impact: Students improved in their writing by 15%. Parents and Families were grateful that they had a document they could refer to at home to help their student improve in their writing.
I created this document as the Education Specialist of an afterschool program.
Problem: Parents and Families were complaining that homework was not being completed during afterschool hours as their students expressed not having homework.
Solution: I created this document for teachers to make note of when and what homework was assigned.
Impact: All stakeholders involved, Counselors, Parents and Families and Students were held accountable. Homework completion increased.
